A Journey of Whole-Life Discipleship through intentional relationship.

Why mentoring?

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

- Colossians 2: 6-7

Having a mentor is one of the ways we grow as a whole life disciple of Jesus and here at St Stephen’s we have set up a mentoring programme, so that members of the church are equipped and released to mentor each other.

Whatever stage of the Christian journey you are on, one-to-one mentoring can unlock the potential within by allowing us to come alongside each other, and do ‘bespoke discipleship’ .

You might want to learn more about how to read the Bible, try different ways of praying, talk through transition moments as a Christian, discernment, widen your toolkit of spiritual practices, engage with your spiritual gifts.

Mentoring can help you integrate your faith into their personal relationships, family life or workplace, helping you live more meaningfully as a Christian. It can help you focus on issues you are grappling with from a perspective of faith.

Who’s it for?

Anyone aged over 18 at St Stephen’s Church who is keen to grow as a disciple of Jesus.
