Hugo has been a member of the congregation since 2004. He worked as a researcher and writer for a political think tank and various social businesses, prior to spending 10 years as a City analyst specialising in the public and not-for-profit sectors. He then trained for ministry at St Mellitus College in London, and was ordained in June 2018. Hugo leads the Thursday Drop-In (our community for homeless and vulnerable adults) and has responsibility for prayer ministry, pastoral care, and life groups. He is married to Naomi, and they have two children: Bibi and Isaac.
Hugo holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from Bristol University and in Theology from St Mellitus College.
Hugo’s first job involved sharing a dormitory with former Triad gangsters in Hong Kong.
