Sport

Sport is a powerful missionary tool for the 21st century and as a local church situated in a place that is renowned for its sporting tradition, it is a great way for us to engage our community.

St Stephen's Walkers

Join the St Stephen's Walkers on short walks in Richmond Park (on the 3rd Tuesday of each month), regular local Saturday walks or take part in walks further afield, including the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and even Switzerland!

Cricket

Our team offers keen cricketers a chance to enjoy some social and competitive sport. Through cricket we aim to build friendships within the church and our local community. Midweek games are 20 overs a side (6pm-9pm), Saturday games are usually 30 overs a side (1.30pm-6pm). Net practices at Marble Hill Park: 11am to 12.30pm on Sat 20 April and Sat 27 April, and from 12 till 1pm on Saturday home match days. New players are very welcome.  To find out more, please contact John Orme at john.orme@tearfund.org.

We always welcome people to come along and support - if you happen to be in Marble Hill Park on a match day, do drop by and say hello, or bring your family along for a picnic. Cricket afternoons are sociable and fun!

Football

The Church football team plays in The Southern Area Christian Football League whose aim is to use football to win young men to Christ. We play on Saturday afternoons at Marble Hill Park during the soccer season. Training takes place on a weekly basis. For more information on how to get involved, please contact Dave La Bouchardiere at bouches@blueyonder.co.uk.

Golf

Have you ever found yourself dreaming of rolling countryside with a yearning to get out into the fresh air? Why not consider joining the St Stephen's Golf Society at their next golf event? We welcome golfers of all standards and it's a great day to bring friends along to. Our events are fun, relaxing and memorable. To find out more, please contact Philip Rogers on rodgers.cpy@blueyonder.co.uk.
