Parenting teenagers

The Parenting Teenagers Course is for any parent with children aged between 11 and 18 years, and for those with younger children who wish to prepare for teenage years. The course provides a uniqiue opportunity to discuss issues associated with parenting teenagers and offers a network of support for parents of teenagers.
The course is run by a team of parents using the material produced by Nicky and Sila Lee, who have been married for over 30 years, have worked with couples and families for over 20 years, and speak regularly on parenting.
The course takes place one evening a week and runs for 5 weeks, and covers topics such as meeting our teenagers’ needs, setting boundaries, building relationship, helping our teenagers make good choices, and looking to the future.
Each evening there is a short talk, followed by an opportunity to discuss issues raised in small groups while enjoying a glass of wine or cup of coffee.
The course, while based on Christian principles, is relevant and helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background.
