Newcomers' Evenings

Our Newcomers' Evenings provide a great opportunity for those who are new to St Stephen’s, or for those who you been here a while but would like to find out more, to explore life at St Stephen's.
Over the course of 3 informal evenings, you will hear about the vision of St Stephen's, meet core members of the staff team, explore how you might get connected into church life, and have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about St Stephen's. Each evening begins with a light supper.
Week 1:
Meet the Vicar, Associate Vicar and Worship Pastor and hear about the vision and worshipping life of St Stephen's, and our involvement in mission.
Week 2:
Meet the Curate and Seniors Pastor and hear about Life Groups, seniors ministry and pastoral care.
Week 3:
Meet the Children’s, Youth, and Young Families Pastors and hear about our kids, youth and young families ministries.

"One of the most important things for newcomers is to feel welcome and noticed. We have been very impressed with the general friendliness and openness of people both at the evening events and the two Sunday services we have attended. Equally important to us is the quality of the children’s and youth work. We want our children to be equipped to lead naturally supernatural lives, empowered to be prayer warriors, holy spirit led and bold in their faith."
